Iroko wood is one of the most well-known tropical hardwoods on the market and is currently used primarily for outdoor construction.
It is extremely resistant to fungi and resistant to termites. Iroko wood has an excellent finish, leaving its surface very smooth and pleasant to the touch. Gluing, nailing, and screwing are also easy.
Note that the color of iroko wood changes due to light exposure, however a simple application of teak oil is enough to restore its natural color.
